Driving to mombasa road in a Toyota fortuner....with its high setting i get to view a lot of the cars around me on thika road and in town and i cn't help but notice the very large number of fellow toyota brand vehicles.....is their a reason why most kenyan car owners prefer asian made cars.....we have a surplus of nissan,hondas,toyotas in kenya,heck even the motorbikes are branded japanesse.......i would say kenyans always have an eye for cheap things,thats why only a handful of us drive the volkswagens,lexus,mercedes,bmw,porsche and hummers in kenya.......dont get me wrong though,there are sme great,good quality and expensive asian vehicles,i just wish kenyans would take a lyking for variety......sample more of the american and european vehicles....give kenya a new look......pimp the roads a bit,theaz already too much asian happening in kenya.
